Join Kirsten Milliken to learn how to turn a raw sheep’s fleece into yarn. In this beginners level workshop we will go through each step of the fibre preparation process from start to finish, discussing different tools, methods and materials along the way. By the end of the workshop you’ll be able to take home your own handspun yarn and carded fleece, and you’ll have the knowledge, skills and confidence to prepare a whole fleece at home.
All tools and materials are provided. Suitable for complete beginners, no prior experience of fibre or textile crafts is needed.
