The D&G Climate Hub team and Borders Forest Trust are excited to announce the chance for you to walk through time at Carrifran Wildwood. The latest in our popular series of summer ‘Netwalkers’.
Wild Heart Site Officer Andy Wilson will guide a small group of lucky participants through the Wildwood site explaining the project’s goals, pointing out the incredible variety of natural species, and discussing the importance of finding seed sources that could truly restore the site to how it would have been 6,000 years ago .
You can drive to the event but parking is limited at Carrifran. There is also a free shuttle to the wildwood site with pick ups at Thornhill, Dumfries & Moffat (book your pick up by emailing steven@gsabiosphere.org.uk). It promises to be an extraordinary day at a site that becomes ever more extraordinary with every passing year.
To book your place email steven@gsabiosphere.org.uk
Join us on August 20th and we’ll see you for a walk in the Carrifran Wildwood.
