On Saturday 27th September, I’ll be running 100km in memory of Kieran. The route (to be finalised) will take me through places that meant a lot to him, starting in Thornhill, heading up towards Townfoot Farm, Penpont, Sanquhar, Elvanfoot, Durisdeer Mill, Carronbridge, and finishing back in Thornhill.
This run is not only about remembering Kieran, but also about raising awareness and vital funds for suicide prevention and support. All donations will go directly to:
• CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) – helping prevent suicide and offering frontline support.
• SoBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide) – supporting those left behind.
You can donate here: https://www.givewheel.com/fundraising/5927/12-big-things/
People are very welcome to join me for part of the route – whether running, cycling, or simply cheering along the way. We will have checkpoints with refreshments and donation buckets for anyone who’d like to support on the day.
Your encouragement, presence, and support, in any form, will mean the world. Together we can remember Kieran, celebrate his life, and help others who may be struggling.
