D&G Climate Hub Netwalker at Tarras Valley Nature Reserve

September 17 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Free

The final Summer Netwalker for 2025 is the epic Tarras Valley Nature Reserve (TVNR).

TVNR is of course, a legendary community land buyout that put D&G Biodiversity and Climate Action firmly on the national and international map.

The team and a raft of volunteers have been working super hard to regenerate a 36 Hectare site in Lower Tarras with indigenous trees to support improvements in biodiversity. It really is an awesome site to witness.

If you are working on a regeneration project yourself or planning for one, or are simply interested in how to undertake such work for a successful result, this is the Netwalker for you. Get valuable information on lansdcape regeneration and take advantage of the opportunity to ‘netwalk’ with others who are interested in such work.

And the whole thing is FREE !!

The regeneration we will visit is in its infancy, helping to make clear the plan and the techniques that the TVNR team have chosen to employ.

TVNR’s Kat Mayer will be guiding us round the site and can field any questions you may have about land regeneration to support biodiversity.

The Netwalker takes place on September 17th and as the image states, please book as soon as you can as spaces on the community bus are limited.
