Come along and ‘shake your tail feather’,boogie woogie or ‘have a bit of a rave’ Get down at the Mixtape Dance Night – You choose the tunes!
The idea behind this participatory dance night is that people request their favourite dance track that they just love to boogie to.
It’s then added into a playlist that is played on the night.
The tunes can be from any style, genre or era.
Creating an eclectic mix of music from pop to punk, indie to soul, rock to reggae and much more.
It is on every second Saturday of the month from October to March.
If you’d like to select a tune, join the Mixtape Dance Night WhatsApp group with the title and artist of 1 or 2 tunes.
The tune will then get played on the night.
And you don’t have to request a tune to come along.
Everyone and anyone are invited.
