THE PENGUIN LESSONS is based on the true story of Tom Mitchell, an English teacher working at an elite Buenos Aires private school in the 1970’s Argentina is in chaos and in a period of political upheaval.. To add to his own personal chaos, Mitchell almost be accident adopts a penguin from an oil soaked beach and takes it back to the boarding school, where he attempts to keep it hidden.
