We are delighted to welcome an incredible variety of artists to show their work in The British Tapestry Group’s celebration of its 20th anniversary. Sixty-eight artists from nine different countries have worked over the last two years to create more than 90 works for this show. The British Tapestry Group, with members worldwide, promotes and sustains the heritage of tapestry weaving as a contemporary art form, raising awareness of how craftsmanship and artistic inspiration can come together in woven works. This exhibition truly reflects the diversity and richness of contemporary tapestry weaving.
