The Border Gathering

Annan is gearing up for another big occasion in the summer calendar.
‘The Border Gathering’ is the signature event of the Annan History Town’s Summer Festival, taking place on the banks of the river Annan on Sunday 31st. August.
A parade of the clans and performers starts at 12.15pm from the Everholm Car Park. New this year will be the introduction of three re-enactment groups from the Roman period to World War Two. There will also be occasional canon fire! Local fiddle group Spectrum will be providing musical entertainment.
Other attractions include arts, crafts and food stalls as well as kiddies rides, bouncy castles etc. Gates open at 12 noon.
