The Solway Cellos are an ensemble of six cellists—Alex McQuiston, Lesley Adamson, Sheila Astle, Sarah Buchanan, Alexandra King, and Vivienne Trueman—based in Dumfries & Galloway and Cumbria. United by their love for music and the cello, they regularly perform with the Solway Sinfonia Orchestra and are dedicated to showcasing the instrument’s rich, sonorous sound.
